Digital transformation has significantly changed students' lifestyles, particularly their consumption patterns, which are increasingly influenced by social media, e-commerce, and digital culture. Easy access to information and various digital promotions have encouraged the emergence of consumerist behavior that is more oriented toward desires rather than needs. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of student lifestyles in the digital era and their impact on consumer behavior among students of STAI Tanbihul Ghofilin Banjarnegara. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis was conducted to identify the factors influencing students' consumerist behavior within the context of digital technological development and religiosity. The findings reveal that digital technological advancements, peer group influence, social media trends, and the convenience of online transactions are the main factors driving consumerist behavior among students. Consumption is no longer viewed solely as a means of fulfilling needs but also as part of a modern lifestyle and a way to gain social recognition. The phenomenon of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO), influencer-based marketing, and personalized digital advertising further strengthen the tendency toward excessive consumption. On the other hand, religiosity serves as a form of self-control that helps students limit consumerist behavior through the values of simplicity, spiritual awareness, and self-discipline. This study is expected to contribute to a better understanding of the relationship between digital lifestyles, consumer behavior, and religiosity among students, as well as serve as a reference for developing educational programs that promote wiser, more critical, and balanced consumption patterns in higher education institutions.
